National Field Services Announces New President

LEWISVILLE, TEXAS – National Field Services (NFS) announced that its Vice President of Operations Eric Beckman, PE, will be promoted to President effective January 2019.

“Eric is both a highly technical individual and an accomplished leader that has a proven track record of developing people,” said CEO Robert Koren. “Since he started working at National Field Services in 2003, Eric has worked hard and proven to be an invaluable member of the management team.”

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 2003, Beckman moved quickly up the ranks. Since starting his first job at National 15 years ago as a Field Engineer, Beckman has occupied the roles of Engineering Manager, Operations Manager and is currently the Vice President of Operations.

He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada; NETA Level IV Certified Technician; NICET Level IV Certified Technician; NCCER Certified Instructor; and a Certified Thermographer. Beckman is on the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) advisory board. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Power & Energy Society (PES).

Beckman is a subject matter expert for the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) exam development. In addition to serving as the Secretary of the board and Chair of the Training Committee, Beckman also sits on NETA’s Continuing Technical Development (CTD) Review Committee and Application Review Committee.
